Dr. Melissa Murphy

Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics & Pregnancy


Dr. Murphy attended the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, prior to graduating magna cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2000.  She has focused her post-doctoral education on prenatal and pediatric chiropractic, and is certified to perform the Webster Technique.

 

She has completed 360 hours of post-doctoral coursework, research, and further board certification to become a Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics.  Dr. Murphy is board certified in prenatal and pediatric care since 2009.

Furthermore, as a doctor of chiropractic, Dr. Melissa has extensive knowledge regarding nutrition, fitness and non-pharmacological health options.  Several of her areas of special interest include the benefits of breastfeeding, natural childbirth, and fertility awareness.

About Dr. Kimberly McGriff

Diplomate in Pregnancy and Pediatric Chiropractic


Dr. McGriff was born and raised in Monroe, Wisconsin where she was active in school and community activities.  She attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for her undergraduate curriculum and then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.  On October 26, 2001 she graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and her Doctorate of Chiropractic.  

 

Throughout her career, Dr. McGriff has cared for patients of all ages, from newborns to age 98.  Patients present to her office with symptoms including: back pain associated with pregnancy, colic, headaches/migraines, ADD/ADHD, arthritis, tendonitis, sports injuries, injuries resulting from motor vehicle accidents, extremity pain, carpal tunnel and so on.

 

She is a strong advocate for patient education and the explanation of the condition.  “I feel that it is just as important for the patient to understand their condition as it is for me to.  I want them to be comfortable in our office and know that we have their health in our best interest.”  

Dr. McGriff has taken several continuing education courses on pediatrics, extremities, carpal tunnel, and whiplash.  She became Webster Technique certified in November of 2005.  She completed her diplomate for the care of children and pregnant women through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in March 2008.  Dr. McGriff takes pride in keeping patients of all ages and conditions healthy through chiropractic care.  Dr. McGriff feels that she is “changing the world, one spine at a time.”
